110.9 four times can not equal 3.4 can it ?

February 1, 2006
Dear *,
Could you please explain to me average tax payer how it can cost our government 3.4 billion dollars to buy four 110 million dollar jets ?
‘The government of Canada has finally inked a $3.4-billion deal with Boeing Co. to buy four C-17 Globemasters, giant jets the Canadian Air Force will use to transport tanks and other large pieces of military equipment all over the world.’
110 million x 4 = 440 million dollars.
Nearly a three billion dollar difference in the actual cost and your spending spree.
Please explain this to me.
I request a full disclosure of this which is not a matter of national defence and may be fraud.
Where is the excess three billion dollars going without any expanation ?
Hopefully you shall reply with a full consideration for your future as an elected member of parliament and not someone pretending to be so while defrauding Canada’s tax payer.
Sincerely yours,
*
