Is all your lumber Softwood ?

Dear *,
Americans stopped imports to their country of Canada’s softwood lumber based on concerns that it was subsidized.
We should therefore stop the import of any products including agriculture from any nations which we consider subsidized . “Free trade” does not allow for such a situation anyway.
Do it and let the cards fall where they may and ensure that any who challenge us at the WTO or NAFTA do pay for Canada’s legal fees.
This could be good for Canada’s farmers and attorney’s.
Retribution leading to any trade war is unacceptable and should be met with the fullness of Canada’s government disaproval.
Quebecer’s imagine themselves another nation and would likely not support the federal government in a trade war. This is a concern which the minister’s of heritage and justice should really be involved with re. official languages and Canada’s heritage as an English territory which french settlers did invade early in the 16th century.
Sincerely yours,
*, Ontario, Canada
