If I were Prime Minister…
1. Cancel Canada’s part in the Kyoto International carbon credit tax exchange.
2. Make made in Canada clean air, water and earth law using something like California emission standards as a guide for pollution controls especially for cars and trucks.
3.Make “clean coal” a priority for Hydro generation and alternative energy sources a top priority.Nuclear power is expensive, dangerous and dirty, could be updated but should not be expanded unless some serious concerns, re: used fuel, is first addressed.
“Mag lev” technology is being used in China to improve the efficiency of wind turbines.
“Bio fuels” are a good idea as a renewable source of energy though I have some rather large concerns that subsidies are being paid to the manufacturers and foreign and local grain growers that makes artificially low the cost of this alternative fuel.
4.Call an election on this platform and let Canadians decide if they want Me or the Leader of the official opposition’s dog running this country.
