When you can purchase carbon credits and keep the Tennessee mansion well lighted.

Morton contends this system will compensate land owners for providing environmental goods and services.
In order to reduce emissions, this program will offer an “opportunity for those large emitters in Alberta to purchase carbon credits … from other Albertans, other industrial users, other businesses in Alberta engaged in activity that reduce carbon dioxide emissions,” explained Morton.
A prime activity that could benefit from this program according to Morton is agriculture — specifically farming.’
