Subject:Bill C – 257
March 05, 2007
Dear minister of human resources,
Some members of parliament may support this Bill because the larger increases unions get the larger increases m.p.’s get.
m.p. salary increases be linked to court judges or big unions or to Canada’s national average or median income and those increases ?
‘Median total income for individuals increased for the first time in three years in 2004. The median total income of individuals amounted to $24,400, up 1.5% from 2003. ‘What an m.p.’s salary should be with no pay for expenses, pensions or benefits and a forty four hour work week with “overtime after sixty hours”.
The median of those who elect them.
Sincerely yours,
*, Ontario, Canada
