Federalism IS Dead

Subject: Is Canada’s federation dead ?

May 11, 2007
Dear minister(s),
Seems to me that a country is a country by definition and not two countries.
“Canada” is now two countries as a result of a majority vote to make “the Quebecois” a nation by Canada’s parliament which excluded public debate or investigation previous to the vote which created a new nation and without any supporting referendum.
Federalism or the federation of Canada is therefore no longer.
Though crimes were committed no opposition or voice of dissent is or was heard by any member’s of the house of commons Court, law society or citizen.
I would therefore like to offer a solution for the minister(s) and ask that the parliament of Canada be dissolved and power of the federal government wholly transferred to the provinces.
Or you could all have yourselves arrested for treason and install interem members to take your place’s until an election has been held.
Sincerely Yours,
*, Ontario, Canada
