Unemployed and maybe looking for work

Dear member of parliament for **, **,
I have been working on and off mostly in Canada’s federally regulated trucking Industry with some time spent as a taxi cab driver in Ontario.
What an absolute joke my employment history has been and still is.
Most recently I was assaulted in the city of * by two “crack heads” while driving a taxi.
The *-* Police officers who showed up half an hour after they were called did not look for a weapon that I told them one of the perpetrator’s had in his possession, had they bothered to take the time to search for this foot long serated butcher knife possibly I would not have been the one charged.
This is going to be a complete waste of time not only for me but also for the police, the courts and the lawyers that must now deal with the false charge against me.
My employer * * *
says that I am not bondable because of this charge, I do not go to trial until August, 2008, the incident occurred in October of 2007. That is the soonest court date? Fair and speedy trial?
In the mean time I am going to find out if I am really bondable or not, since I have not been convicted or should be.
I thought we were until proven guilty in a court of law?
Such is life for some of us who must work in these unregulated, uncontrolled, ‘do as you please’ Industries in this country that have NO labour standards to speak of because the government’s do not do there job.
The employer mentioned above did not pay me severance pay which is required by law, I am entitled to one week of severance because I wasn’t given notice, they know that.
More work for Ontario’s bureaucracy and bureaucrats ie. Labour Standards.
Taxi Companies in this province including * Transportation in London, Ontario and * * Cabs do hire illegal employees to work for them.
More trouble for legitimate workers and public funded tax collectors to deal with.
“Owner operators” or “lease operators”, those who do not own the actual business licence, in Ontario’s Taxi Industries and Canada’s federally regulated Trucking Industries are illegal workers according to federal and provincial labour laws and the CRA and are not required to pay income taxes?
The NDP says little, the Liberals had thirteen years to fix this criminal behaviour and what is your government going to do Mr. *?
Sincerely yours,
*

Raising the age of consent

March 04, 2008
Dear member of parliament for **,
So glad to hear the age of consent has finally been raised to sixteen years of age.
Yeah, good for you and is over due by “a hundred years”, so I hear.
I would go as far as raising this age to eighteen years of age except I know that sixteen year olds can legally marry with parental or a guardians consent.
Regarding your Crimes bill that recently was passed and the hiring of more police officers. I would like to see the perpetrators of crime serving their full sentence with no-time off for good behaviour, rather time added to the sentence if they behave badly in jail!
I would rather have more prisons being built and seeing real time for real crime which would take pressure off of police and other social services and may even save money in the long run and maybe fifty thousand dollars is too much money for government to pay to keep one prisoner for a year.
Glad to hear the government has finally done something worth doing.
Possibly the Finance Minister could chop a hundred billion dollars from payroll taxes over the next two years as he has done for business over the past two.
That would  be worth doing and would relieve much pressure from Canada’s social spending needs including national child care and I would also suggest health care costs and municipal welfare rolls and would create more jobs than cutting business taxes ever could.
Police are over-worked and under-staffed, I can confirm that for you as cab driver in this city but I still think real time should be served and these monkey rule Judges and lawyers in this province and country should face elections every five or ten years same as senators.

Sincerely yours,
*

Would they sue if it wasn’t true?

February 28, 2008
Dear the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada,
Maybe you are aware of the federal hate crimes bill which was passed into law by the previous Paul Martin Liberal government, a piece of trash and garbage in my opinion.
However or coincidentally it were and was witnessed by myself on public CPAC television that the premiere of Ontario, the leader of Ontario’s NDP and the leader of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party “agreed” with each other to maintain a “racist” and discriminatory act of the Ontario parliament. The continuation of “publicly” funding with the public’s tax dollars one separate and religious school to the exclusion and added detriment of all other separate and religious schools in the province of Ontario.
The three leaders Dalton McGuinty m.p.p., Howard Hampton m.p.p., and John Tory with the full knowledge, consent and I believe, cooperation of the previous chief commissioner of the Ontario Human Rights Commission Kieth Norton and of the Ontario Attorney General Michael Bryant did and still do comit to this “racist” and discriminatory Hate Crime.
I would like to request or even demand that as Canada’s Minister of Justice and Attorney General responsible for enforcing the laws that you do take action to investigate or make inquiry into this most grievous criminal offence which is now taking place in this province of Ontario and by those I have mentioned and likely others, in order to maintain this illegal conspiracy of discrimination, extreme religious intolerance, “racism” and “hate” against all other non-“publicly” funded separate schools in the province.
This is your responsibility and the responsibility of law enforcement of this country to ensure that this criminal act (“hate crime”) perpetrated by Ontario’s elected members of parliament is properly investigated.
I have written to you in the past concerning this “hate crime” though apparently to a “deaf ear”.
Could you have an investigation or criminal inquiry as soon as possible into this matter so that those responsible for this crime can be held accountable to the law and that this horrendous public injustice may be corrected and as soon as possible?
Sincerely yours,
