HPV is a epidemic

Has been for at least ten years so why isn’t it a required  “reportable  STI”?

‘One way to help stop the spread of STDs is by informing those who have had sexual contact with someone testing positive for an STD. This is called ?contact tracing? or ?partner notification?. In BC, syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia are reportable diseases. When there is a positive lab test for any of these diseases, sexual contacts must be notified in order to help stop the spread of infections.’ STD resource.com

I notice that HPV is not a reportable STD or STI, as they are called now.

I’m in Ontario and HPV is not reportable here or to the federal health agency.

HPV is a known cause of allot of cancer especially cervical cancer and is a communicable STD?

seems like a mini AIDS virus to me only affecting allot more people and only “3%” of infected persons even know they’re infected

u gave me HPV

There are several treatment options for HPV but there is no cure. Once you have HPV the virus stays in your body.

Dear *************

I have rather mysteriously and suddenly contracted HPV “anal warts” after having a colonoscopy at your Grand Ave hospital?

I have none of the risk factors associated with contracting an “STI”?

There is apparently “no cure” for HPV and is something I’ll have to live with the rest of my life. You need to find out how this happened to me and make sure this does not happen to anyone else.

You are spreading deadly communicable disease.

What else have you spread is what I’m wondering, SARS, H1N1?

I know how I got “anal warts”. I haven’t told my doctor that and don’t really see much coming from that since she seemed quite oblivious to the fact that she gave me this disease, while she was telling me I had it. I may be talking to a lawyer though.

My greatest concern is that this not occur to someone else and that you prevent this from happening to others.

“HPV”,  I go to hospital for a rather simple procedure I presume (colonoscopy)and come out with a life long communicable sexually transmitted disease! That is not “health care”. I’m now living with the stigma and knowledge of  having this  “STI” or STD and because I must have (some promiscuous lifestyle) but really because my very good surgeon apparently does not know how to prevent spreading disease?

I wonder how many others that may not be as say “virgin” as myself are getting these STI’s from tests or procedures being done by their doctors and hospitals?

I know I should sue but honestly that is going to be quite another stress I do not really want to have.
